The marriage

Since the enactment of the Code of Personal Status, marriage can only be valid after the presence of two notaries and a Civil Status officer witnessing the signature of the marriage certificate by two witnesses along with the consent of the parents.

 

 

File items


-1 Excerpt of birth for each of the spouses.

-2 Medical Certificate for each of the spouses.

-3 National identity card of both spouses.

-4 National identity card of two witnesses.

For the conjoined foreign spouses:

-Authorization of marriage delivered by Tunisian embassies.
-Certificate of celibacy or certificate of divorce for the muslim foreign spouses. 
-Excerpt of death of the spouse for widowers .
